The Universal Call to Holiness
The Universal call to Holiness, is at its most basic level, calling all Christians to be holy. Through Baptism we are made holy, casting out Satan and the stain of original sin. As we live out our lives, we should continue to work through Christ’s victory. His Grace, His Power, and His Will for us helps every Christian (whom accepts this call), to spread the Gospel by example of our lives (Video: The Universal Call to Holiness). It’s not an easy call, and humility must be accepted lest our pride get in the way. Oftentimes we will stumble and fall, which once again reminds us to accept that all things come from God, such as our gifts, talents, and strengths.
Each Christian can live a life that consistently points to Christ and His goodness through charity, peace, and kindness. It is always good to look to the most Holy human beings as an example, for instance, Mary. By way of her most excellent example, we too can strive to be obedient to His call of Holiness (Video: Dulia).
